Welcome, Science Teachers!  Here is a resource page, just for you!

Our primary aim here is to share science and earth science ideas and tools with all teachers.

DMS has researched local, regional, and national resources to aid you in your classroom.

Most are links, DMS articles, and downloadable tools; however, we may be able to assist
you with free or low-cost sample mineral or fossil set(s) for classroom use, or for your personal
edification.  We also support instruction for merit badge programs within Scouting.  E-mail us.

Our outreach for samples begins with Delaware teachers, and extends outward geographically,
as far as possible, depending upon availability of samples.  We self-collect specimens from
club fieldtrips and process donations for this purpose.

We also promote science through educational events, such as our March 6-7, 2010 Show
at DelTech (see: below).  There we facilitate learning and fun through exhibits, demonstrations,
as well as sales at vendor booths and club tables.

And, knowledgeable and expert club members in the Tri-state area are available free-of-charge
to speak or present to your class about earth science.

We continue to have DMS volunteers assist in the Delaware Science Olympiad.
