At last year's September meeting we saw members' photos and heard
their commentaries concerning their mineral and fossil collecting
activities. This year we planned on following the same vein but with some added
twists. Therefore, anyone who has collected during the past year was invited
to submit photos to be included in the program. Digital photos should be
emailed to Gene Hartstein (
Gene@fossilnut.com) with copies to Alex Kane (
aandmkane@aol.com) and Scott Peters
(slipgap@aol.com). Tom Pankratz will not be at the meeting. At the
meeting we want your contribution of commentary as it pertains to your
photos.
The membership of DMS is wide and varied, and everyone does not field
collect. Therefore, also as part of the September program, we invited
members to bring in things that they may have recently acquired or
had made. These items were be mineral, fossil, lapidary, or jewelry related. You did not need
photos for this Show 'n Tell. You just brougt them to the meeting and took part
in the program
