                     How to Sell on e-Bay

At Our Meeting: Monday, September 12, 2005

Program: "How To Sell on e-Bay"

Do you want to become filthy rich from your vast collection of rocks, minerals, fossils and gems?  If so, you won't want to miss the September meeting.  We heard our own Gene Hartstein give us the lowdown on "The Nuts and Bolts of Internet Selling on eBay"!! [Eric Meier]

Program Review:   At this highly interactive program, members queried Gene on the mechanics of buying and selling fossils, rocks, and minerals on eBay, the online auction.  All this during his phenomenal Power Point presentation.  Gene's experience provided us with the answers to most, if not all, of our questions.

He gave the history and success of eBay, keys to
searching the site, timing and pricing of your goods,
the importance of feedback to the community, and
tried and true marketing techniques to ensure your
customer satisfaction.  A most informative program.
