Eric Meier gave the evenings talk and demonstration on the techniques of
splitting large boulders with feather wedges, hand drills and power equipment. After an
excellent demo outside we all adjourned back into the meeting place to hear about his
exploits at Herkimer, NY. He concluded his talk with an invitation to club members to go
on a field trip with him to Herkimer to collect world famous Herkimer diamonds. His offer
