Show Raffle Prizes & Winners!

We had our prize drawing just before 5PM, March 7th (Sunday).  Five winners were selected at random by an independent third party.  Each prize is awarded in the order drawn. Winners were contacted in the order drawn to choose their prize.  The winners are listed below:

Winners have the opportunity to pick up their prize at our club meeting, Monday March 8, 2010 at 7PM at the Historic Greenbank Mill, Price's Corner, Wilmington, Delaware. 

Please bring your raffle tickets to successfully redeem for your prize.

All winners receive a FREE individual membership to the Delaware Mineralogical Society until December 31, 2010.

If winner is not available at the time of our meeting, please contact Ken Casey, President at kencasey98@yahoo.com.

We can then make arrangements to give you your prize in a convenient and timely fashion.

About Our Show

FEATURES:

  • Demonstrations included: Lapidary, Faceting, Beading, Chain-maile, Wax-carving, Scrimshaw, Cabbing, Wirewrapping, Wirewrapping Rings, Pearl Stringing, Bead Crocheting, and Gem Tree Making!

  • We had scheduled renowned lampwork glass bead artist Paul Spencer from The Glass Bead Studio in Philadelphia, both days!

  • Children’s booth where youngsters of all ages purchased inexpensive minerals, fossils and grab bags.

  • Campus cafeteria has vending machines open most of the day for light snacks. Over 10 restaurants within one mile.

Directions:

From I-95 South:

--Take the SR-58 exit- EXIT 4B- toward SR-7 North/STANTON/METROFORM

--Keep RIGHT at the fork in the ramp

--Stay straight to go onto CHURCHMANS RD/DE-58 W

--Turn SLIGHT RIGHT into DTCC parking lot

 

From I-95 North:

--Take SR-58 exit- Exit 4B- onto Rt. 1 North

--Merge right

--Take  the SR-58 East Exit (Churchman's Road)

--You will see DTCC on your left

--Make left turn at Traffic Light onto DTCC campus

 

From New Castle County Airport:

--Take U. S. Route 13/40 North

--Exit to I-295 South

--At I-95N/I-295S split, take I-95 South (bear left)

--Move over to right lane less than 1 mile after merge

--Take Exit 4B at Churchman's Road from there

--Climbing exit ramp, you will see DTCC on your right.  Enter DTCC parking lot there.

 

Locally:

--Take Rt. 13/40 South to Hare's Corner (New Castle Farmer's Market)

--Turn Right onto Rt. 273 West

--Bear Right onto Rt. 58 (Churchman's Road)

--Cross overpass over I-95

--Follow until you see DTCC on your right

--Carefully merge into right lane.  Enter DTCC parking lot there.
