This is a DMS
sponsored EFTA trip; to the JT Dyer Quarry to collect:
zeolites, pyrite and calcite from 8AM-Noon. You will need to
bring safety glasses, rock hammer, chisels, hardhat, and
steel-toed boots.
Please sign up by Thursday, October 12th if you would
like to attend! Note: This is close to a 1.5-hour drive from
Delaware.

Nice specimens of calcite and stilbite can be found at this quarry. Please
let me know if you would be interested in attending this trip! Check the

Gibraltar, PA. Minerals found: zeolites, pyrite and calcite.
Our trip to the quarry yielded some fine calcite and stilbite crystals collected
from vugs. |
