friendly field trip for DMS members to collect Cretaceous age
fossils from the spoil
piles at Reedy Point along the C&D Canal.

Canal, New Castle County, DE. Collect Cretaceous age fossils from the
spoil piles at Reedy Point along the C&D Canal. Please let me know by March 25
if you would be interested in attending this trip! Twenty members got to enjoy this
trip (12 adults, 8 Junior members)!
May 15, 2004, Saturday: C & D Canal, Delaware
City, DE. Our trip to the canal yielded some nice fossil specimens. We found
Belemnite, the Delaware State
Fossil, and various other marine invertebrates.
